Cold & Cough Formula. Pain Reliever-Fever Reducer, Antihistamine, Cough Suppressant, and Nasal Decongestant. Temporarily relieves these minor symptoms due to cold or the flu:

• sore throat
• headache
• muscular aches
• fever
• runny nose
• sneezing
• itching of the nose and throat
• cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation
• nasal congestion
• sinus congestion and pressure

Warnings
Alcohol Warning:

• If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers.
• Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.

Do not use

• for more than 10 days (for adults) or 5 days (for children)
• if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI)(certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson’s disease)
• for 2 weeks after stopping a MAOI drug.

Ask a doctor before use if you have

• glaucoma
• heart disease
• high blood pressure
• thyroid disease
• diabetes
• high fever
• persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema
• a cough that is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus)
• a breathing problem such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis
• difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use

• taking sedatives or tranquilizers
• if you don’t know if your prescription drug contains MAOI.

When using this product

• do not exceed recommended dosage
• may cause excitability especially in children
• may cause drowsiness (alcohol, sedatives, and tranquilizers may increase the drowsiness effect)
• avoid alcoholic beverages
• use caution when driving a motor vehicle or operating machinery

Stop use and ask a doctor if

• cough persists for more than 7 days (A persistent cough may be a sign of a serious condition.)
• cough tends to recur
• cough is accompanied by:
  • rash
  • persistent headache
• sore throat is severe
• sore throat persists for more than 2 days
• sore throat is accompanied or followed by:
  • fever
  • headache
  • rash
  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • nervousness, dizziness, or sleeplessness occur
  • symptoms do not improve
  • new symptoms occur
  • symptoms are accompanied by fever that lasts more than 3 days.

Do not give to children under 3 years of age unless directed by a doctor. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Prompt medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.

Adults and Children 12 years of age and older: Take 2 tablets every 6 hours, while symptoms persist, not to exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours, or as directed by a doctor. Children 6 to under 12 years of age: Take 1 tablet every 6 hours, while symptoms persist, not to exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours, or as directed by a doctor. Children under 6 years of age: Consult a doctor.
