Not to be used during pregnancy, while nursing, if suffering from a cold or fever, or for use for prolonged periods of time, or in high amounts.

Not recommended in cases of nausea or vomiting, ulcers, gastritis, constipation, diabetes, hypertension, liver disorders, frequent, copious urine, severe kidney insufficiency, and hypokalemia.

May potentiate potassium depletion of thiazide diuretics and stimulant laxatives, as well as the action of cardiac glycosides, and cortisol.

Use with caution in cases of diarrhea, or abdominal distention. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.
